Most oils used are preferably organic, however depends on availability of product. Note: a higher price charged for this service SWEDISH MASSAGE Various techniques applied to the muscles to relax and rejuvenate. Swedish massage also incorporates adjunctive therapy, (hot and cold packs) and some gentle joint movements followed by stretches to help relieve areas of limited joint movement and hyper tonic muscles. DEEP TISSUE Deep tissue massage is for specific areas where a muscle or muscle group has specific areas of concern or dysfunction. The techniques that are used work on the deeper layers of muscle fibers promoting healthier tissue alignment which helps to increase muscle function, movement and or joint range of motion. SPORTS MASSAGE Working with any level of athlete using techniques so your muscles can be utilized to their fullest potential for the level of condition of that individual. USUI REIKI Light gentle hand positions bringing forth universal energy flowing through the practitioners hands to where ever it is needed for the person receiving Reiki. This helps to connect and promote health in body, mind and spirit. PEDIATRIC MASSAGE Light gentle strokes in short half hour– forty five minute sessions pending on age. All sessions a parent or guardian must be present during massage. This is for ages 10 years old up to 18 years old. The benefits include increased focus, clearer thinking, increased sense of well being and much more. |
